God is a God of everlasting covenant. There are many examples of covenant in the scriptures. A few examples of covenant’s include:
The birth of Christ was part of God’s fulfillment of the Covenant with Man.
King David’s Covenant with Jonathon.
Genesis 9:16 “The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting Covenant between God and every living creature…”
2 Samuel 23:5 …yet he hath made with me an everlasting Covenant
God Has Always…
God has always intended on having a Covenant with man. The Covenant was established with man through the cross. Hebrews 13:20 declares “Now may the God of peace who brought up the Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting Covenant…” We are in Covenant with God! Covenant Partnership, The Hebrew word Briyth means compact, agreement, a compact made by passing between pieces of flesh. This is a word used to define Covenant. God declares that a Covenant includes the passing of flesh. Passing between is a two-way flow.
David understood that it took partnership and teamwork to do all that was required in the battle. King David provided a basis for the purpose of Covenant and the blessings of partnership. 1 Samuel 30:24 in the NIV states “The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.”
This means that everyone who supports the work of our ministry has a God given right to the blessings and rewards from our labor. You have the right to step into the blessings of God as Covenant Partners and share in our rewards!
Apostle Paul instructed the Church to send forth ministers. In Philippians 1:3-5, Paul wrote to his partners and thanked God for their “sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership in advancing the good news.” (Amp).
Paul explains that it took partnership to advance the good news. The Hebrew word Briyth indicates a flow of blessings that is a two-way channel. Apostle Paul understood this two-way channel. In Philippians 1:6-7, Paul stated, “…ye are all partakers of my grace.” Paul knew that his partners shared in the grace of God that was on his life and flowing through his ministry. He was informing his partners to expect to receive the anointing and blessing operating in his life.
Partnership is about entering in and partaking each other’s grace. In Philippians 1:19-20, Paul expected his partners to stand with him and gird him with prayer. This created a corporate anointing and covering.
Partnership creates boldness in our lives. Paul was a very bold Apostle, but where did he get his boldness? In Ephesians 6:10-20, Paul discusses the armor of God but in verses 18-20 we find that much of his boldness was attributed to his Covenant Partners. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints – and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
Shara and I consider it a tremendous honor to have you as a partner. We expect blessings to come upon your life and your household.
With the help of our faithful partners, we are able travel and cover our expenses without burdening other churches and ministries. As they sow into us, their seed is utilized to help us send the Word at no charge to other people and ministries. God is always faithful to provide by dealing with the right person at the right time to give so that every need is met with surplus. Your gift is an answer to faith and prayers. It is also an investment in God’s eternal kingdom for which you’ll receive reward.
